Concrete Leveling: How Long Will It Last?

A frequent question A-1 receives is regarding the longevity of concrete leveling as an application. The photos above show an ideal situation where a driveway we pumped in 2007 is still holding up perfectly. The all-natural limestone-based grout that A-1 pumps beneath sunken slabs to raise them back to original sets up to a point that is stronger than very dense earth. Drainage issues can undermine any concrete slab whether original or raised with leveling. Assess your gutter downspouts, sump-pump overflow, and ensure your landscape is grading away from your home and concrete to avoid accelerating sinking slabs. Another often overlooked tool to keep water at bay is to caulk any cracked joints on your concrete slabs. If you currently have sunken slabs, call A-1 today at 716-341-4550!

Mayors Park Boat House Solution in North Tonawanda

When A-1 Concrete Leveling completes projects our crew needs access to an electrical outlet and a water spigot to mix our material. We can get by without electric as we have on-board generators on the trucks but the water source is more necessary. One of our crews had to get creative completing a leveling project for a couple who had a boat house with a sunken slab where water was pooling. With the nearest water spigot over 200 yards away, but with the boat house on the river, our ingenious crew drew water from the river to use to mix the material for their project. Success!

A-1 Appreciates Exceptional Customer Compliment!

A-1 Concrete Leveling routinely receives compliments from our customers. They call and tell us about their positive experiences. They tell our crews when their project has been completed. They visit us at the home show years after we completed their projects to tell us that it still looks great. In the busy world we live in it is rare that we receive a letter. This letter, sent to us last November in reference to work completed during the Summer, was received with much appreciation from Mr. Robert R. Radel. As we finally and thankfully begin our season, we are grateful for Mr. Radel's time and his expression of satisfaction with the work we completed at his home. This letter is published in full entirety with Mr. Radel's express permission. Thank you, Mr. Radel!

A-1 Concrete Leveling New York State Travel Plaza Projects

A-1 Concrete Leveling was proud to be able to assist the New York State Thruway Authority in completing projects at all of the travel plazas along the I-90 from Rochester to Pennsylvania State. These projects saved government dollars, was more convenient to plaza visitors than a replacement project, was immediately usable after project completion, and increased visitor safety. A-1 appreciates NYS for recognizing the value concrete leveling provides as a solution to resolving sunken concrete issues. Check out our video which was just posted to YouTube!
