Facilities Management Expo 2013

Thursday, November 7, 2013 (11:00 AM- 5:00 PM)

Thanks again to Nancy Boyd Haley for organizing the ever-popular Facilities Management Expo.  We are looking forward to exhibiting there!

The FM Expo provides a comfortable and convenient environment to meet with many of our existing commercial and industrial customers as well as the opportunity to connect with some great people that may become new customers.  The FM Expo is a great opportunity to learn about new innovative products and services.  As concrete leveling is still emerging, and due to our unique, patented pressure injection application, it is always good to meet with our customers face-to-face to discuss our process.  Of course, it’s always a pleasure to reconnect with other vendors as well.

When concrete leveling is right for your project, A-1 Concrete Leveling can save you 50 to 70 percent versus replacing sunken concrete.  One of the best things about concrete leveling is that it can be done until the ground freezes even in the rain!

We look forward to see you at the 2013 Facilities Management Expo!  Visit us at booth #303.

The Expos is at the Hearthstone Manor in Depew, NY, On Thursday, November 7th, from 11:00AM to 5:00PM.

A-1 Concrete Leveling Preserves Concrete for those that Preserve Memories….

A-1 Concrete Leveling has been extending the life of concrete in Buffalo, NY since 2007 by raising over 15,000 slabs.  Raising the concrete slabs also re-establishes the sub-base which greatly reduces future movement ensuring the concrete will be around for years.  Last week we had the opportunity to raise 1500 square feet of interior concrete at Blossom Chapel in West Seneca, NY.  The project took the better part of two days and 7 yards of limestone slurry to raise the slab 2”-3” back to its original position.

Blossom Chapel has been serving the Buffalo, NY area for over 40 years by providing a variety of funeral services; therefore minimizing the mess and downtime is critical to allowing them to serve the community. Without concrete leveling those slabs would have been one of the next funerals at Blossom Chapel when it was torn out and replaced.  Serving our customers by providing value is “what we do” and serving those that serve the community is always a pleasure!  http://www.blossomchapelsfuneralhomeny.com/

For those customers that are commercial/industrial facility managers or buyers A-1 Concrete Leveling will be attending the 2013 Facilities Management Expo!  Visit us at booth #303.

The Expos is at the Hearthstone Manor in Depew, NY, On Thursday, November 7th, from 11:00AM to 5:00PM.

A-1 Concrete Leveling Drafted by Buffalo’s VA Hospital to Raise Sunken Concrete…

A-1 Concrete Leveling has been “Helping Raise Buffalo to Higher Ground” by raising over 15,000 slabs (and counting) back to original position during the past 7 years.  It is always a pleasure and the goal of our company to provide value to our customers and community but when we have an opportunity, albeit a small one, to bring value to a customer that that takes care of those that protect our Country, there is a particular sense of pride.  This August A-1 Concrete Leveling raised sunken concrete at the VA Hospital in Buffalo, New York.

Our blog is a great chance to let people know what we do and how we bring value but, in this case, it is a great venue to remind everyone that we should never forget that those who currently serve and those who have in the past served our Country.  These are the people who give each of us an opportunity to experience the freedom of living the type of life we all cherish.  Please find it in your heart to donate your time and money to the Disabled American Veterans; they have given so much more to us!!!

The ground below this concrete gets a first class upgrade when A-1 Concrete Leveling raised these sunken concrete slabs….

At A-1 Concrete Leveling we have been “Helping Raise Buffalo to Higher Ground” and we have had thousands of great opportunities to bring value, technology and expertise to Western New York during the past 7 years. Raising sunken concrete through the process of pressure injecting “more stabile ground” below the concrete and floating the existing concrete back to its original position without costly replacement is where value, technology and expertise get together and hang-out.  I never get tired of the process of saving existing concrete. Science has extended the average human life-span; why wouldn’t you use science to extend the life of your concrete?

A-1 Concrete Leveling- Buffalo’s increasingly famous Concrete Leveler meets Duff’s Famous Wings

A-1 Concrete Leveling Western New York Division has been “Helping Raise Buffalo to Higher Ground” for the past 7 years by raising over 15,000 slabs and counting.  We recently had the opportunity to raise a series of sunken slabs at Duff’s Famous Wings Restaurant in Amherst, NY. Lest you might think that Duff’s has given themselves a self -anointed title as “Famous” I recent had an experience where their famousness entered my life unexpectedly.  A few weeks ago a friend from high school had a flight from Kansas City to Baltimore with a layover in Buffalo that was severely delayed which left him with extra time in Buffalo, NY, and he decided to go to Duff’s Famous Wings to check out the Buffalo Wing hype he had been hearing about all these years.

We had been in contact on Facebook but had not seen each other in almost 28 years and it seemed as though another 28 years may be in order.  Through the modern marvel of Social Media my buddy knew we owned A-1 Concrete Leveling, a business in Buffalo, NY, as well as our office number so he called and left me a message that my long lost buddy Espy was in town and at Duff’s Wings and for me to call him if we could meet.  After meeting and reminiscing about the “good old days” along with the “what were we thinking days” he asked me about our company, A-1 Concrete Leveling.  As a crazy coincidence we had recently completed a project at Duff’s raising slabs to eliminate the height differences on their front walkway and I was able to show him the end result of our work.  I also let him know that we were A-1 Concrete Leveling, “Buffalo’s Famous Concrete Leveler”; I’m certain he knew that I meant famous as a relative term.
